Join author Artur Dron' in conversation with Guardian journalist Luke Harding on Thursday 17 September celebrating the launch of Hemingway Knows Nothing at Swedenborg Hall in Central London.
A young graduate, only six months into his dream job, joins the 125th Territorial Defence Brigade of the Ukrainian Army in February 2022. Going off to war to defend his loved ones from the Russians, Dron’ came to understand that the Ukrainian experience differs fundamentally from that of writer-combatants of the past.
They will also discuss Luke Harding's new book 'Betrayal: Trump Putin and the New Age of Conquest', about the war in Ukraine and the return of brutal great power politics.
